1. FTC News: Date Changed!
I have reported about our case against the Federal Trade Commission in several earlier e-zines (e.g. here: http://www.drclark.net/news/ezine030923.htm).
The court date was set to February 9. I have asked you on two earlier occasions to travel to Cleveland, OH for the rally against the suppression of alternatives in medicine by the FTC. The date has now been postponed by the judge. The new date is October 4.
This gives us more time to prepare the case. It will also give us more time to have deposition with the hostile experts the FTC brings on, and our experts will have more time to prepare their documentations. We have about 10 doctors and NDs who can show successes with the Clark protocol with many different conditions.
Meanwhile, I would like to ask you to keep writing letters; to schedule a trip to Cleveland in October; and to offer your assistance for the case and the rally by writing to the local Cleveland contact, Jim Clevo: jcpclevo@yahoo.com.

2. Interesting Info About BSE: Why it Had to Happen in the US...
...and why you should not worry too much about it.
BSE is on everyone's mind now that the first case of BSE has been registered in the US. Has the disease finally made the jump across the big pond from Europe? Will the US have to slaughter millions of cows like Great Britain has?
British farmer Mark Purdey many years ago refused to treat his cows with organophosphates (pesticides) against the warble fly. Later he noticed that the cows of farmers who like him had not used organophosphates did not come down with BSE.
He started to do his own research and came upon astonishing facts. He found that excessive manganese was causing BSE when copper metabolism was blocked, for example by organophosphates.
Is he just another nut who does not know what he is talking about?? Apparently not, the University of Oxford confirmed his findings: in the lab they could show that excess manganese and lack of copper could turn regular proteins into prions, which are the cause of BSE. Much rather than a communicable disease, this seems to be just a case of toxicity. Brains of people who died of CJD, the human analogue of BSE, contained 10 times the normal amounts of manganese.

3. Body Burden: A Study About Pollutants in People
Dr. Clark has been discussing the PCB problem. Dr. Clark has been finding PCBs in drinking water and from other sources, and has shown with her Syncrometer (bio feedback) research that PCBs block the human immunity like nothing else.
PCBs are polychlorinated biphenyls, compounds that were used as liquid insulators decades ago. When the EPA realized how toxic PCBs were, they were outlawed. But they are not bio degradable and therefore the large quantities that had been produced up to that time are still around, polluting our water supply and getting into the food chain.

4. Is Vitamin D Dangerous? Find Out With This Online Test
While orthomolecular specialists tout the benefits of vitamins in general, including vitamin D, for optimum health and healing, some opponents keep referring to the potential toxicity of vitamin D.
Because vitamin D is fat soluble, it is possible to overdose it and get too much of it. The liver will keep absorbing vitamin D until it is damaged by it, and excessive vitamin D can lead to calcification of the kidneys. These are known facts, but little is said about how much really is too much. One could get the impression that it is downright dangerous to take vitamin D supplements.
