“The AWS National Breeding Director, Nikki Atwell, purchased a TB mare that was underweight and in the last trimester of her pregnancy in 1997. This mare ate twice as much as all the other horses and would not gain weight. The foal was born and they both were underweight. The E3 Aphanizomenon flos-aquae was started as soon as it arrived to help the foal and the mare gain weight soon after the foaling. After a couple of months the mare gained weight while nursing a now, large foal, and again in foal herself. Our Vet couldn’t believe the difference in the mare’s condition. The mare’s hoof condition has improved, hoof wall improved dramatically, but the most noticeable change is her coat’s iridescence. The E3 AFA has helped to create a healthy, vigorous horse from the inside out.”
