What you need to know...

AD/HD has been linked to a lack of micro-nutrients and other definable causes such as heavy metal toxins and dietary exposure to chemicals and preservatives. Eliminating powerful preservatives and additives (many made from petroleum), artificial food flavoring, coloring agents, sugars, and foods that cause allergies, from your diet is only one step toward correcting children and adult AD/HD. These unnatural additives in our food have effect on behavior and learning. The EASIEST and most IMPORTANT step to assist in the management of neurological disorders such as AD/HD, (also autism, dementia, Alzheimer, etc.) is by adding a usable micro-nutrient to your diet. High quality mineral nutrition is important for everyone, and especially crucial for children and adults with AD/HD and other disorders. Minerals are critically needed to enhance brain and nerve functioning because of their role as "enzyme activators." Brain and nerve cells cannot function without enzymes. In fact, two out of three Americans are probably deficient in at least two or three minerals, and don't even know it. This deficiency stems from vegetables and fruits grown in mineral-deficient soils, and poor diets consisting of processed and commercially prepared (and chemically preserved) foods. Trace mineral deficiency causes several problems including a host of diseases, impairment or retardation of brain functioning, reduced attention span, sleep disturbance, listlessness, fatigue, irritability, aggression, and many other ailments too numerous to mention here.

Can AFA blue-green algae help to rescue children and adults with AD/HD and other brain chemistry conditions?
AFA is the most nutrient dense food on the planet. It is contains virtually every vitamin, mineral and amino acid in the world. AFA is extremely high in proteins (amino acids.) These amino acids serve a dual purpose; they provide necessary building blocks for protein, enzyme and neurotransmitter synthesis and they help to remove dangerous heavy metal toxins from the body. Protein contained in the AFA algae may help to stabilize a child's blood sugar levels, allowing brain cells to operate more smoothly. There is increasing concern that a shortage of protein can lead rather directly to brain chemistry abnormalities reflected in AD/HD or other conditions involving brain-related malfunctions.²

Studies using AFA blue-green algae have been conducted.
One such study involved 109 children with an average age of 9 years. At the end of a ten-week study, parents reported "significant improvement in the ability to focus, follow directions, and concentrate... fewer symptoms of anxiety and depression and behavioral withdrawal." Teachers involved in the study also reported "an improvement in the ability to focus and concentrate" a reduction in aggressive and acting out behaviors." The results of this study indicate that "significant positive changes in children" were evident across a wide range of behaviors" [and] that all children might increase their ability to concentrate and focus as AFA blue-green algae is added to their diet."¹
