Five Ways to Relax Anywhere

Sometimes you need to relax when you’re out and about and it’s not convenient to take twenty minutes to lie down and relax totally: maybe on your way to a crucial appointment, in an interview, giving a presentation, or any other situation normally regarded as highly stressful. Here are five ways to relax that you can use to relax anywhere.

1. Peripheral vision

RelaxLook at the wall opposite you and find a point which is straight ahead and a little above eye level. Continue to look at this point in soft focus throughout this exercise. After a while you may find that as you concentrate on this point the rest of the room goes a little dark, or vague, or fuzzy, and you develop a kind of tunnel vision. We use this tunnel vision a lot in modern society ? watching TV or using a computer, we only see the screen; when we read or write, we are focused on the words; even when we talk to someone, we often only look at their eyes or their face and ignore the rest of them. This tunnel vision goes with a kind of inner ‘tunnel vision’, where we get obsessed or fixated on things, and it goes with worry, adrenaline, rushing around, stress.

The Signs of Inner Peace

  • Frequent Attacks of smiling
  • A loss of interest in conflicts
  • A loss of interest in judging self
  • A loss of interest in judging other people
  • An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment
  • A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others
  • Contented feelings of connecting with others and nature
  • Loss of ability to worry (This is a very serious symptom)
  • Increased tendency to allow rather than force things
  • Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation
  • A tendency to think and act spontaneously
  • An increased susceptibility to the love extended by others
  • The uncontrollable urge to extend love all around

The Value of the Moment

Imagine there is a bank that credits your account each morning with $86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening the bank deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out every cent, of course!!!!

Each of us has such a bank. Its name is TIME. Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day’s deposits, the loss is yours. There is no going back. There is no drawing against tomorrow. You must live in the present on today’s deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness, and success! The clock is running. Make the most of today.

  • To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade.
  • To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a Premature baby.
  • To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
  • To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
  • To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who missed the train.
  • To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask a person who just avoided an accident.

Treasure every moment that you have! And treasure it more because you Shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time. Remember That time waits for no one. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is mystery. Today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present! Friends are very rare jewels, indeed.

The Dietary Supplement Safety Act

A new bill called the “Dietary Supplement SafetyAct (S.722) has been introduced in the U.S. Senate. Despite its title, it would allow no more consumer protection than current law ? the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) ? provides. Oppose this Legislation!

The Food and Drug Administration must not be granted new and unprecedented authority to subject safe and beneficial products to additional and unnecessary scrutiny.

This bill would subject nearly all vitamins, minerals, herbal products and other supplements to a level of scrutiny that is both unwarranted and unnecessary. Products that have been used safely for hundreds ? and in some cases, thousands ? of years would be subject to clinical evaluation using standards that are at the complete discretion of the FDA.

The Floride Information Page

There is sooo much info being published these days about the health risks associated with Fluoride that I had to start including some of it here. I’ve known for years that Fluoride was a bad thing, but most people have been totally hoodwinked and simply can’t accept that fact.

Read the articles and research it yourself. There is a lot of it from a very wide variety of sources, including major medical journals. This is for real, folks. Don’t get caught up in the hysteria, simply pay attention to the facts and choose to limit the amount of Fluoride you get in your diet.

Dr.’s Office or Hospital: Which is better for minor surgery

It’s Good to Know: Is It Better to Have Minor Surgery in the Doctor’s Office or the Hospital?

It can be much more hazardous to have minor surgery in the doctor’s office than in the hospital. According to a study conducted at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, the risk of adverse incidents, sometimes even death, was about 10 times greater in the office setting.

The most dangerous procedures are colonoscopies, endoscopies, and anything that requires anesthesia.

If you’re considering having minor surgery in your doctor’s office, make sure you weigh all the factors. Ask him what the risks are, and what kind of support is available if a problem does develop.

Three of the main energy therapies being used by thousands all over the world are: EFT, TAT, and BSFF. The techniques are easy to learn and easy to use, and offer almost magical relief from physical, emotional, and spiritual issues of all kinds. They truly do work! Like so many other things in the healing profession, though, EFT doesn’t cure everything, but it works so well on so much that it should be required training for everyone who breaths (really!). Check it out.
