Do I have to Zap for 7 minutes and wait 20 minutes?

No. Dr. Clark has been recommending continuous (duration) zapping for a while now and it seems to be the preferred method.

Continuous Zapping (also known as Duration Zapping) refers to using a Zapper continuously without stopping.

In the beginning Dr. Clark recommended using a Zapper for only 7 minutes at a time with a 20 minute wait, followed by 7 more minutes of zapping, another 20 minute wait, etc. for one hour. This 7-20-7-20-7 session was duplicated electronically in many zappers and is generally refered to as an auto-programmed function. You select the auto-program function and it times the 7min/20min zapping/wait cycle for you, running the complete one hour cycle before shutting off automatically.

When zapping continuously you simply turn the Zapper on and leave it on until you decide to stop zapping. There are no 20 minute waiting periods in-between.

When Zapping continuously/duration don’t zap for less than 30 minutes at a time.
